| New TFC mod PTF |
For those of you perhaps a little jaded with current tfc, Or simply after something a little different then i might have just the thing for you :)

This is basically a totally serverside mod(think neotf) that alters tfc to make it a faster and hopefully more skillful game, You dont need to download a thing, You simple join the ptf test server @ 213.91.4.5:27017(wont always be open to the public) and give it a go :)
The idea for the mod was originally Bladespirit's and with the help of the coder iTooo(whos also supplied the webserver and test server :X) theyve already come up with a very playable game in the space of a month or so :)
Beta testers are currently being recruited but spaces are limited so hurry if you want to do it :), Please bear in mind if you try this mod thats its in the very early stages of development and is very untested(hence the beta testing :P) So dont be too quick to write it off if theres anything you dont like.
There are too many changes for me to list here, Besides they are all on the ptf homepage...But suffice to say its a lotve fun and i really hope it takes off :)

As it stands atm itooo has just gone ahead and coded the ideas himself BS and others have had, Theres been very little in the way of making sure the classes are balanced.....This is why were beta testing now.
I seriously doubt whether this will become as popular as TFC(no huge software house pushing it) But i think if we can get at least 1 league running with enough clans interested then its a success.
I think its quite funny the number of people ive seen knocking it so far, Kinda sad really :/
Anyway as ive said give it a go and if theres anything you dont like or you have ideas about things that could be added then post on the ptf site...Thats the whole point of it, What your playing now isnt the finished article..try and realise that. |

| I don't see anyone saying "lol it's shit gg" or anything of the like, I see people not being overly impressed at the moment but recognise it's in the early stages of development. It's good that people are taking the steps to improve the game because valve have more pressing matters to attend to. |
