Chimkey was a lotve fun,Few probs at start with 2 of shs's offy droppin but the ref paused and we carried on with no probs.
Pretty much surged into a lead and never looked back,SHS reshuffled their d which slowed us a little but we were never really in danger of losing it.
Onto Xo2.....Not much fun(im sure it was for SHS cos they won afterall :P),They used the lovely backtracking sols tactic..Weve personally never played that way cos its more or less ruined what used to be a very good map,You only have to imagine how the game wouldve been if we'd played the same tactics,Maybe we have to in future or perhaps we'll ever have to play the map again seeing as these tactics have somehow become acceptable.
Frankly anyone whos ever played xo2 this way really shouldnt consider calling anyone lame for playing a swop sol on 2fort or even backtracking/potshotting on ANY map,Just my thoughts on the matter anyway.
GG in parts,Just wish we couldve played a straight up map of xo2.
Btw i aint singling SHS out cos far too many clans consider the tactic ok and it isnt like they invented it....I just think its sad that a once good map gets fucked over by it. |

gg on chimkey. Our def was alright for most of it but still has to strengthen up imo ;) Offy owned, started strong and kept the caps flowing.
co2, sigh. I personally dont undersand why this tactic must be used :/ also i dont understand why the maps in leagues :/ Gonna not try moan too much but the 5bting offy sols is just a frustrating lame tactic and its annoying to draw a game in such a fashion. Far too many top level clans do it for fuck knows wat reason. Its effective yes, but so are many other lame 'tactics' that anyone could employ. A 4 bting sol offy on chimkey would be effective but lame and rael bent. If this map is to remain in leagues i suggest the clans who play it come to an agreement before they play it because quite frankly id prefer to lick my elbow for half an hour than play that map. |

well we won chimkey easily which was nice...
i remember back to old games on co2 use to be well fun, to be honest i expect these fag tactics to be used by shite division 5 clans who cant think up any tactics...
we had a mess around on this map b4 the game tryin out some tactics like u expect from a top division clan then u play it agenst a clan of shs standard just to have the most pointless game ever...they might think they r like YO WE R COOL :D but if thats how u have to win then well played >_<...
it basically opitomises top european standard tfc and puts us down to the level of americans.

I didnt play my creation but wp to everyone who did. We totally reshuffled defence in the prematch with DW playing bsp and stig tsp. It seemed to work and defence was 'stable' for large parts of the game. Offy was playing really well, piling the pressure on SHS from the word go and the caps came out.
I came on for co2 and sigh upon sigh upon sigh. It really was niave of me to assume that SHS were honorable enough not to use these tactics but I dont think I will ever make an assumption like this again. We started with me as demo, turk enj, dw yard sol and stig yard HW. After about 5 mins our FR was totally overrun and we couldnt reset so we just changed the def about constantly. In the middle we had a pretty decent def going but it didnt last long enough for offy to get us back in the game.
It really disheartens me when a clan has no BTing rules on their public server but they dont mind using it in a clan game to pull off a result. Personally I was really frustrated because I thought we were the better team. |
