Despite having a pretty full irc room we still struggled to get 8 for this, Finally managed to get f6 to join just as sd_l prematch ended but unfortunately his adsl was screwed and he dropped after 5 mins. SSK idled for a while but i told them to play 8v7 after about 5 mins as there was noone to take f6's place.
To add to this both teams had 2 or 3 players with pings spiking up to 200+..some gay UK>belgium/holland router i guess so for some it wasnt much fun i spose...Kinda settled down near the end though.
SSK started off by far the brighter and had our laser down a few times whereas our 3 man offy just about managed to get the laser down once but couldnt get near the flag, Luckily our defence stayed pretty solid and kept us in it. Finally the pressure told though and SSK inched a flag out to lead 10-0, Figured it was all over then cos with 3 offy we didnt have a chance.....God knows how though but a few minutes later we did :D, We all kinda reached the flagroom at the same time and somehow got the flag out past the laser.
Finally Merc turned up and noticed we had 7 so joined, From there on in our offy was really on top and relayed the security pretty much non stop for the last 5 minutes, With about 60 seconds left we got a good movement on the flag and i think it was Nar rocketed back to our base only to be killed under the cap point...Luckily though i was right behind him with a conc primed and scooped up the flag then conced to the cp to score with just a few seconds left :)
Next up was monkey_l, Pretty good game...As much fun as monkey_l gets nowadays anyway :)
