w00t we won the Barrysworld 5v5 tourney after a game with LBU that went all the way to the third map :D
First map was fry_laser and LBU owned us, Woulda been a little closer but for DanS dropping and them chain capping a few at the end for finish 146-76 winners(i think) No doubt they deserved it though as they lead throughout.
Next up was Openfire_l and after a few changes we got going, LBU used tuna piping the switch and then flag and tbh it was a bitch to get past, After a while though me and saltz got going and gradually inched a few caps out :), Def on the other hand was rock solid and i think the flag only moved from the fr area once.
Finally we moved to Monkey_l and again defence was rock solid returning a couple from the ramps/Front door.
It was me and saltz again on offy and i gotta say we did some great teamwork to get the flags out...saltz got the sgs and i did my gayboj scoutwork to chuck the flag, worked a charm :)
Wp LBU was a great game, Hope Barrysworld run the tourney again soon :) |

played fry first, was first time ive ever seen the map :O Def was abit gay and spasticated combined with a few nice moves from LBU meant we were put fully on the backfoot from the start. Aphexs sg didnt ever seem to pickup meds and they got alot of throws into the main bit.
Didnt play openfire but we won so mustve been ok ;D
monkey was teh decider and it was actually pretty tense at the start. Def held pretty well, LBU got abit of movement on the flag but we did well to return them. fax and slatz seemed to be makin progress nd capped a few :> |

I played fry_lazer, and had played it 4-5 times before without any problems for bc/hk/shs using the same tactics, but tonight it seemed to be different.
One sol at left hand lift, and one sol just infront of him looking at the rr, no one in FR bar me, mr engi pal, thus they kept getting up that shoot thing and getting flag. There was a few times when they got two down the lift at once, one distracting the SG and one getting the flag and throwing it, and being alone in fr while DanS and stig made sweet love i couldn`t do much about being overrun, also not the worlds leetest engi :E
+ stig had never played the map before, oh and we lost DanS mid map for 5 minutes and they carried on capping, not a good map this, nevermind eh :P
Didnt play next two maps had work to do, for which lordy took mah place. GG LBU |
