    Nooooooooooooooooo.....This was the decider for the UKTFCL and because of our utterly shite performance v DW earlier in the season we had to beat them and also restrict them to no bonus's, Unfortunately we just asked too much of ourselves ;(

    Seems weird feeling negative after such a good win, But at one stage it really looked like we were gonna do it, Well played to DW though for getting the caps to force the bonus and win the UKTFCL YET AGAIN :P

    gg DW and congrats on the title :), Maybe next season for us :)

    We've always sucked defence wise on sd2, our d got raped and me playing like a complete spack didn't help...was missing everything with my shotty and getting frustrated at so many meds coming through etc.
    Luckily offy bailed us out DW offy was probably the best they could put out (with the exception of trig) with Wlz and Compact coming out of inactiveness recently to play, even so defence needs to improve on sd2.

    Stow2 i didn't have a great feeling about due to the attacking nature of the map and DW having such a strong offence out, but i felt i played much better this map and my shotgun was a little more accurate and my TK skillz were top notch.
    Our def was extremely solid in the first 10mins not letting a cap go (mainly due to Eagle being such a ownage monkee) and our offy got it to something like 50-10 and then dw def slowed there capping down but thankfully we came out winners by a decent enough margin :O)

    Didnt play, didnt feel it was right as i havent played a proper game in a while what with new job and stuff :)

    Shame we had such a task tonight, we won(in kind of convincing fashion) but due to the "bonus point" rule we lost the league on a point from a clan losing :) so it feels a bit wierd.

    Such is life, got WPTFCL to look forward too(not best league but it will do) and Vitality-x which im personally very much looking forward too, gg wp DW :)

    It's 8 pm on a sunday evening and I just got home from a birthday party of my grandpa (he got 76, wooho!). At this time of the day, most people are watching tv, or having sex with their cats (like Lordy), but for us, it was time to play the game that would decide the winner of UKTFCL Season 10.
    Yes, I'm talking about the match between 'The Piemols' and 'The Bun Lifters', 'We-loose-unknown-maps-cause-we-cba-to-prac' and 'We-loose-because-we-have-15-inactive-players-eventho-they-all-play', 'We-prac-24/7-at-lans' and 'We-love-to-shout-jockey-airshot-piemol-pal-at-lans'... also known as the match =BC= vs [DW].

    Maps to be played are Shutdown2 and Stowaway2. Our objective: winning the game, getting the bonus point and preventing [DW] from getting one. This isn't easy vs. any random premiership clan, let alone vs a clan like [DW], so I went into this game with random feelings.
    I was quite sure we would be able to beat them and cap a lot on Shutdown2 (as we did the same twice 2 weeks ago for Vitality), but then again I was a little bit worried that our defense would get raped by [DW]'s really strong offense on Stowaway2.

    We started with Shutdown2, making fun of [DW] in prematch on voicecomms, but sadly [DW] take the 10-0 lead. I started thinking about the 10 cap difference we needed to assure a play-off, and that this could become a very loooongg night. But things get brighter when we level with [DW], score becoming 10-10. After this, the same pattern repeated until the score was about 60-60. We managed to get the flag out again and cap it, making the score about 70-60. We managed to get a relay aswell, so score then was 80-60. With not much time left I was quite sure we were gonna win this map, and so we did. The map ends 100-90, with [DW] getting a last minute cap. This result ofcourse isn't bad, but knowing that we were gonna have to win the next map with a 10 cap difference (assuming [DW] get atleast 1 cap), made the result a bit sour for me.

    So next map starts, and I mentally prepare myself for a capping race. Therefor it surprised me that after the first minute noone really got the flag moving, until we got about 4 caps in about the following 10 mins, while [DW] didnt get any at all. Would it really be possible to get this 10 cap difference? MAYBE DEFENSE COULD EVEN WITHOLD THEM FROM CAPPING ANY FLAGS AT ALL? Sadly the awnser was a big 'no'.
    [DW] capped making the score 40-10 and offense was struggling getting more caps out. Eventually we managed to cap again, but so did [DW] and knowing we were now gonna have to to cap atleast another 7 flags was something you don't wanna have on your mind. It was too much pressure for my precious soul and I started playing a bit crap, as I kept thinking and looking at scoreboard to see how much more flags we were gonna have to cap. A few mins later we capped a flag and thought: if we relay a few now it might happen, but sadly [DW] capped one right after. Again we capped another one, but so did the c*nts aswell.

    This reminded me of this little game I used to play with my dog. I hold this bone up in the air, which seems impossible to reach for the dog (like the +10 caps we needed), then the dog jumps up in the air and is about to get it! (like we cap another flag), but then I quickly put the bone a bit higher, with the dog falling down on the ground (like [DW] capping another flag).

    Eventually the map ends with 110-50. This alone is a good result again, but the bone was just too high in the air, and was impossible to reach whatever we were gonna try. I have to say: WP defense for only letting 5 caps go vs [DW], cause thats really good imo on a map like stow2.
    This means [DW] win UKTFCL with 1 point difference from us, and they deserved it (otherwise they would not have had that 1 point more), so WP to them aswell.

    I'm still bit dissapointed that we didn't get the 10+ cap difference, cause it seemed possbile at some point, but then I just try think of the fact we beat [DW] again, and that i'm just gonna have to be pleased with that.
    So GG [DW], looking forward to the next match between us and happy birthday grandpa.

    I regret all the things ive said on voicecomms at the start of sd2, im really really sorry and i take it all back.
    Do not watch dets demo coz its very offensive.

    Season 10? of the UKTFCL is over, and DW are crowned champions for the 3rd time. Whilst once again, in my short time with bc we've been so close yet so far to winning a major competition. In someways im glad we did'nt get within the winning bracket of 100 caps ahead of dw during the final map (stow2) or losiung the league would have been harder to take.

    As we went into the game, most of us felt the league was almost impossible to win. As Nar says stopping any clan in the prem getting the bonus is one thing, but vs DW is another. So we set out basicly just to win the game and claim another victory against our closest rivals in europe. Its been a long time since 3rd of July when DW last beat us, and =BC= as a whole has improved alot since many key players went inactive. Shutdown2 began with a bang, both sides capping early and dw always seeming to take a 1 cap lead, only for our offy too level the scores each time. At this point I could not see us pulling 20 points clear, let alone 100. Once again Det was outstanding in the fr, and if we had anyone other than me on the ramp, we would have won the map with a much larger margin. It was just not my day. Offy pulled out two chain caps towrds the end and so we ran out winners by one cap.

    So a 10 cap margin on stow2 would win us the league (no way man! :P).hmmmmmmmmm 40-0 10 mins gone??? we can win this? Then offy stopped capping??? and we let one flag go. Our heads dropped a bit, with dw capping another 2 and offy getting our 5th cap. Offy began getting caps out again, but everythime we got two, dw got one, and it was enough to stop us getting the vital 100 points difference. Map ended 110-50, brilliant performace by defense, as its the first time we've played it in a propper clan game.
