Woeeeeeei..where to start :o
Ive had a few tense games of tfc in the past(and probably lost mostve em) but this one was amazing, 3 maps and everyone was incredibly close, Think i need a lie down so ill keep this short :)
Thanks to roundie and Vitality for a great tourney, Thanks for 187 and burstfire for the 20 player server and thanks to DW for a really class game of tfc :)
Ill add somethin about the game when i feel a bit more up to it :P |

I am too tired for a decent match report, so I will just add my 'wehaj' for winning Vit-x final. It was a really tense and good game game with a nailbiting end.
Wasnt playing on my best but at all but that doesn't really matter as we won, and thats pretty much all that mattered. Have to say sorry [DW] tho, for going offy sol for 2 runs or so, and randomly shooting some [DW] offy that were passing by. Normally I would never do this, but as our flag was in danger and I thought [DW] did an extra sol aswell when we had their flag top spiral (turned out they didnt have any extra sol defending when I asked in irc later), that but thats probably pretty much what a golden cap rule in a big final does. That ofcourse doesn't take away that it's p00 to do, so sorry ;/. |

Omg :) Finally to win something which is better then BYTFCL ;)
Didnt do to well on oppose, was my first time ever doing FR / Long as sol, few mistakes lead to DW having a 2-0 lead from very early on, but we kept it that way, and got a cap back.
sd2 i knew we would cap on, D was doing good for first 75% of the map, then DW just chain capped, lack of comms and generally slippery cuntishness of some of there attack(only remember defrag, didnt catch others names), but we out capped :) felt we could have lost it near the end, score was 80-100 or something, with DW constantly moving our flag, tense last few minutes i can assure you :).
soooooo onto a 3rd map, 2fort! me lift, Eagle top spiral, DanS bsm. They seemed to rape spiral, and all to often had to cover bsm, felt wierd in a big final, doing 3 things at once, enemies all over the place, we did ok though, the mind boggles:). We capped, then got another out and it was in water, as DW moved our flag to top spiral, and capped, we got the flag from outside and capped, our flag was moved slightly, to bottom spiral, as i was alone in bsm(again) but managed to kill with a freak of a ss shot to stop relay :D
Nice to finally win such a tournament, against our oldest rivals, in such a tense and close game. Personally i reckon scoring should be like Vitality, on caps, then we wouldnt have had to play 2fort and life wont need to code a 3rd map option :P

lol, just reminded me of that, you killed me or i was tked at bot spiral, and you were about to walk into flag when nail gren blew up, and propelled you into bsm from first corner of spiral and you went spalt on the floor, hehe :)

Well after a lotve tough games we at last got down to the final against probably our biggest rivals DW, Knew it wasnt going to be easy but never imagined but how close it ended up.
Had a few probs before the match as to what server to use due to ours and DW's being 18 player max but needing to be 20 to make space for the commentator and the hltv, Thankfully roundie sorted it and burstfire came to the aid to up 187's server limit to 20 and we could get the game underway :)
First map was DW's choice op2k1 and although we had a reasonable record on this map we wernt anything special on it so i figured it could go either way, Unluckily for us it went DW's way for the first 15 minutes or so with their offence racking up 2 caps and our offy getting precisely nowhere, After that though our Defence settled down and returned everyone of DWs flag movements and at the same time our offy started to actually look like we might cap as well. Somehow we got 4 flag touches/throws in quick succession and managed to get the flag down to the ramproom and then capped it...Unfortunately that was about the extent of offences achievements cos i dont think we even got the flag beyond their flagroom again after that :/
Next up was our map Shutdown2 and id say atm this is by far our offences best map, This time round however we started very slowly on offy and DW took an early lead....After this we traded caps for a little while and there was always 1 cap in it up untill the 10 minute or so when offy suddenly clicked and we capped about 6 in a very short period of time...This gave us about a 5 cap lead but we kinda went to sleep again after this and didnt cap any for a while, all this time though DW were catching up on us..However luckily we somehow pulled out a few more in the last 5 mins to make it safe :o)
So with it being all square at one map each we moved onto a first to 2 caps on 2fort(the same route we used to beat koSm in the semi), Knew this would be very tough but was fairly confident we could do it., DW had similiar ideas though i think as they got off to a flyer and whereas we were restricted to just a few touches they got quite a few nice movements and eventually capped the first flag, Wasnt long though until we did the same...We got it to top spiral fairly easily but couldnt quite get it out into the open and for a time i thought they might return it, Luckily we got a few more touches though and got the flag home.
Our second cap seemed to come pretty quickly after this with offy getting a few touches in quick succession and before i knew it someone(saltz i think) took it straight up the spiral and lost it just near the front door. What happened next is all a bit of a blur...For some reason someone decided to take it into the water to do their conc up to balc(BAD FUCKIN IDEA when their whole defence are going to try and defend it if you lose it there..Which they did :P)..I honestly thought we werent going to cap it and maybe lose(cos all this time DW were working a cap out..was bottom spiral at the time) but somehow we managed to conc the flag out the water and cap to end up winners \o/
