First UKTFCL war of a new season and it was against the old enemy DW so we were determined to get off to a good start :)
We started out on roasted_l which tbh i never enjoy much but it turned out to be a really good game this time, It was close all the way through with both teams matching each other cap for cap with us just managing to sneak ahead with about a third of the map left.
For that last 10 mins or so both teams got plenty of touches but not a great deal of movement, in the last minute or so however DW worked our flag all the way to the rr but with a bitve good thinking on nars part ;) we managed to hold it and end 30-20 victors.
Next up was openfire_lowgrens and after a fairly crappy display on offy last night i was a bit worried, However i was wrong to be as offy performed really well and got plenty of touches, We did have a hard time converting them into caps though as the DW def was very hard to break down.
I think the scores were around the 40-30 mark to us when things went a bit..peculiar :), DWs water hwg moved to playing in the midfield and with a few excursions into our base as well, This certainly allowed DWs offy more flag movements of which they managed to cap 2 but it really opened up the DW defence too and allowed us to get the caps we needed to stay ahead, Who knows what wouldve happened if they'd kept their original D :)
