Rules...
Rules are nice. Rules make things more controlable.
But what happens if you have to many rules?
People are gonna interpret rules their way, they are gonna forget rules, and people will work around the rules because one rule will neutralize the other.
So where am I going with this? ECTFC.
It's obvious the admins tried/try to do their best. But TFC nowadays seems to be much more about whining and flaming more than anything else. There's whine when someone BT's.
There's whine when someone hits too well. There's whine when someone uses a lame tactic.
And now there's rules that try to stop BT and lame tactics. Why? Because otherwhise people'd whine.
STOP WHINING!
Play the game as you and your team like. [I am not saying cheat and use bugs, this is something that shouldn't be allowed ofcourse]. Don't try to control the game to much with so many rules. If you have a good team, you can beat lama tactics and you can beat BT'ers. There's so much
BS going on around TFC, its pathetic.
I could write so much more, but im not gonna. I'm just gonna say: Dont whine and be a good sport, it's cool if the other team plays fair too, but dont demand it. At least you were a sport!
PS: I wrote this speaking for myself, not my clan. And with everything i say i exclude cheats/bugs etc, those should never be allowed!

I am now at a point where i just dont care anymore what happens or what clans do.
My clan asks me to play a certain pos, i play that pos as best as i can.
Do i see some of my clan BT or play lame? i dont care. Do i see other peeps doing the same? i dont care. Do i suddenly see in my base an offy hw ? i dont care. Is the opponent team flaming mm1 msgs all the time? i dont care. Does the opposing team yell ffs unzy u resup whore cunt spammer +gren +gren +gren? i dont care. Does my team go 7 def? i dont care, if my pos is lift, i will def that lift as good as possible, no more, no less.
I play like my clan expects me to play and i want to def my pos as good as possible.
I admire some players A LOT , just for their coolness, players who never say a word on pubs / wars , no matter how many time they attack, get tk'd , got potshotted, who's flag was stolen, got 12542 times killed in a row and still remain cool or at least dont whine in mm1 or go lame, like Afx, batt, korpse, compact, shadow etcetc dozens of players could be named here...

LOL @ Team F ^^ Well I'm French and as far as I know -f- was not the only one team whinning about supposed cheat of team so-called G. Let's stop that -f- inquisition, yes we lost, yes JeX whines, and YES some things are weird, I dunno if it's cheat but it might raise a debate I think.
And for the main topic... as said Mercution the no-bt rule may be acceptable but if this also regards the flag carriers, otherwise it's such a mess... And potshotting... lmao no one can make this rule applied... I heard somewhere "It'd be better to have no rule than rules that no one obey and that cannot be applied..." |
