What you think your playing at? I wouldn't mind if you had a clue about web-design and could actually make some valid points concerning the website, but instead you have to march in and offend as many people as possible, well i'm offended. I dont see =BC= members going to teamshs.com and making any sort of derogatory remark concerning the site, do you? If im mistaken them please go ahead and point me to the relevant url.
A message to UncleBruce, is Nero really an appropriate choice of vice captain at shs? Surely a vice captain of a highly respected clan such as yourselves should learn when, how and why to keep his mouth firmly shut.
If anybody has any genuine question/gripe about the website feel free to contact me in #bodycount, and im sure myself or Lifeless will be happy to answer it. Thanks.

Not wanting to get this back on topic or anything.... but with reagrds what Afx said about the SHS site being cluttered, I couldn;t agree more.
When I originally made it, it was fine for what it had, ie a set of simple features which were all easily accesible, with a few hidden extras down the side, but not many.
Now Hobbes has taken over the coding (although still seems reluctant to admit I designed the entire site...) a whole bunch more stuff has been added which has been simply tacked on - the top nav bar is too crowded now, and is generally fucked, and the bit down the left now has way too much shit on it for it to make any sense.
Basically the site is now fucked in terms of the looks, ok it functions nicely, but what I originally designed has been savaged beyond all recognition.
As for this site, I'm with CC. Yea I took elements of inspiration from the DW site when I designed the SHS site, and its clear that this site has taken ideas from both mine and CC's sites. But as he says it does nothing new what so ever, either graphically or in terms of functionality.
As he says, if you want us to drop down and suck, then do something truly revolutionary. This is nice. Just nice. |

as for taking "elements" from the DW/SHS site im not hugely convinced and i wouldnt inflate ur heads over that, just because it uses a left nav and a top image it doesnt make it TEAMSHS.COM/DIGWAR.COM mk2 :P

| aye sab i agree about SHS site. The original one you made was just right with the content and the style. It looked very kewl :D. Now it has too much stuff on the page, especially down the left side. Thats not to say its not a good site. Some of the stuff hobbes done are really kewl. The games section is brilliant with pong, tetris and top trumps. I think i just needs a bit more organising so the page looks a bit simpler. |
