What you think your playing at? I wouldn't mind if you had a clue about web-design and could actually make some valid points concerning the website, but instead you have to march in and offend as many people as possible, well i'm offended. I dont see =BC= members going to teamshs.com and making any sort of derogatory remark concerning the site, do you? If im mistaken them please go ahead and point me to the relevant url.
A message to UncleBruce, is Nero really an appropriate choice of vice captain at shs? Surely a vice captain of a highly respected clan such as yourselves should learn when, how and why to keep his mouth firmly shut.

If you ask me digwar site is good just coz its neat and tidy. So many of the clan sites were (and most still are) a total mess and things were laid out in random manner. CC looked at it logically and laid things out in a way that increased the functionality of the site. But isnt that what its a trade off between? You can have a really innovative clan site (like www.psychoclan.net or the old NRG site if anyone has memories that stretch back that far) but at the cost making the site slower and much harder to update. One of the briefs vo had when making this site was to keep the gfx down while still keeping the eye candy level high. You cant please everyone with the design and colour scheme.... or can you? By far the best thing in digwar is the preferences bit where you can change the colour schemes about. I really want something like that on this site (with your permission of chouse cc ;x). Im guessing its not that hard to recolour the gifs and make a few colour schemes. Ouuu i cud come up with millions. A nice red on black one wud look ace and maybe red white and blue :>.
I still think we shud have the nav bar with links to members/results/demos etc vertically along the top coz theres a bit of space up there. That would also free up some space on the left for the last 5 results thingy which is really useful if u want a quick glance at recent games. Imo if you are more than 2 clicks away from any piece of information then its not good enuf, and things that are used frequently shud be a single click from your fingertips. Personally I've never been a fan of the calender thing and i never use it :/ I also think it could be redone so it goes across the top of the page and todays date is in the centre. |
